Some of Us Are Made of Bone (2015 & 2008)

This project began in 2008 when hundreds of migrants discarded makeshift ladders in Melilla and Ceuta on the border of Spain and Morocco. The objects are built from eucalyptus trees (regarded as weeds in California) and reinserted into the places where the wood was found.
