Works > The Museum of Future Memories: The Butterfly Already Exists In The Caterpillar (2018)

Exhibited as part of Adapt to Survive: Notes from the Future at the Hayward Gallery (London) and Concrete Gallery (Dubai).

The Butterfly Already Exists In The Caterpillar is the story of the Museum of Future Memories coming into being in a city where the horizon line between sea and sky has blurred. In 2077 Fornebu, Norway (site of the past national airport) is invaded by airplane ghosts and inhabited by immigrant, migrant and refugee time travelers. The installation of texts, drawings and collages expand into the spaces in order to speculate the ways we already exist in an ever-evolving state of flux.
