Commissioned for the exhibition Witch Hunt at Kunsthal Charlottenborg.
She Holds the Wind in a Bag That is her Power is a part of The Museum of Future Memory which explores what happens as the horizon line disappears and reinserts the body in speculative processes.
Wind appears enclosed in a woven bag, suspended, in motion. The bag creates a space that we rely on to protect or gather what we cannot hold ourselves. Gestures have similar powers, like tying a knot as proof of magic.
